Baby Classes
Baby Massage Classes: I learnt to teach baby massage in 2003 with the International Association of Infant Massage, which was founded in 1986. The focus is on communication in all its forms, which as a Speech and Language Therapist for children, is incredibly important to me. It enhances interaction and bonding with your baby, as well as physical well-being. You can learn in a supportive and nurturing small group environment, either at one of the venues, or in your own home, or on a 1:1. The course runs over 5 weeks, and you will discover benefits for you and your baby, such as relaxation, communication, strokes for legs, tummy, chest, arms and hands, face, back, and specific techniques to relieve colic and wind. The course is suitable for babies from birth to 12 months.
COVID 19: All classes are run in accordance with government guidelines, and I have done my own risk assessment. IAIM has produced a special online course for groups which can be run on Zoom on request.
NEXT COURSE: TUESDAY 9th NOVEMBER 2021, 10-11am at The Hub, Quarry Farm, Bodiam, East Sussex
This class runs for 5 consecutive weeks and is £70 which includes oils and weekly handouts. The classes will be face to face (with COVID secure measures). The Hub is a beautiful venue, with easy parking and a lovely cafe for after the class! If rules change unexpectedly due to coronavirus, the course will continue online.
